Ep. 67: Discovering Your Carb Tolerance
It is likely that you’ve tried to cut out carbs because you thought this was what you should have been doing to lose weight. But you discovered was that cutting carbs didn’t work. In today’s episode, I’m sharing with you, how you don’t need to eliminate carbs entirely, and you’ll learn all about how to discover your carb tolerance so that you can eat the foods you love while balancing your hormones and managing your PCOS.
You may have heard the common narrative that carbs are “bad”– and this mentality is detrimental to your hormonal health and can be mentally toxic in leading you to disordered eating patterns. The fact is, that you don’t need to eliminate carbs. In my program, Reset Your PCOS, you’ll learn that you can in fact eat most things you love. You also don’t need to eat any food you dislike to get healthy.
Now you may have seen an influencer on Instagram, that teach about how to losing weight. These methods fail for their clients because they aren’t scientifically proven. They are usually eating regiments that have worked for them personally, and therefore try to apply that same method to all their clients. But it’s important to note that everybody is unique, and therefore should be treated as such.
