Hi, I'm Dafna!

As a working mom, I understand how challenging healthy eating can be for women.

I firmly believe every woman has the power to be the BOSS of her health, weight, and food choices. Motivating women to take charge of their wellness is my mission. I have helped thousands of individuals lose weight, prevent or manage a condition and start living healthfully and positively. I would like to train you to do the same. By working with me, you will experience:

My Approach

I always had a love for food and cooking. I started preparing meals at home at a young age and the only books I ever wanted to read were cookbooks (this is still the case).  I grew up in a healthy eating environment and followed a typical Mediterranean diet having been born and raised in Israel. As a young adult, I gained interest in exploring human behavior and what motivates people to take action. I started out as a psychology major but quickly changed my mind when I realized my school offered a nutrition program. The opportunity to combine my passion for foodhealth and understanding behavior into one career could not be turned down! I started taking nutrition courses and never looked back. I absolutely love what I do.

My Experience

Over the past 10 years, I have focused on treating medical issues such as obesity, IBS, PCOS, cardiovascular disease and diabetes through good nutrition. My practice utilizes a “whole-person” approach, looking at all the factors that make your health needs unique, as opposed to solely focusing on sizes, pounds or inches. In addition to developing sound nutrition programs for my clients, I have a strong passion for teaching healthy cooking through my culinary seminars. I truly enjoy combining these two aspects into the wholesome food philosophy I share with my clients daily.

When I am not working, I enjoy playing freeze-tag with my kids, go on date nights with the hubs and sweat it out while exercising. Dark-roast coffee, good vibes, and a good playlist are essential parts of my day.

Andrea's Success Story...

I've been seeing Dafna as my dietitian for a little over two years now.   I honestly don't know how I got so lucky! She not only really cares about her clients well being but also how they are feeling with the changes that are being made to their food plans.  Let's face it, food is a huge part of our lives, it is going to have an effect on you when you alter your day to day routine. To me, having a dietitian who recognizes that is key. She's supportive, motivating and positive. I wouldn't have been able to lose 60 + pounds without her. She's an A+ in my book.
